Cyclades Islands
Cyclades Islands
Many circular routes are possible. Your choice will be dominated by the Meltemi, the persistent strong northerly wind. There are enough harbour’s & anchorages to remove the need for night trips. It’s usually easiest to go east through the northern islands, and back west (the more difficult direction) through the southern islands (returning north along the Peloponese coast, or through Kithnos and Kea).
One Week Itinerary:
Leave the Marina at Alimos on Saturday and sail to the islands of Aigina.
Day two - Kythnos
Day three - Paros
Day four - Serifos
Day five - Kea
Day six - Aigina
Check out at the Marina at Alimos at 1600 Friday.
With two weeks your tour could include Mikonos to the east, Thira to the south, then west to Hydra, Aigina and back to Athens.
